Answered questions ·

Is there a Spain immigration e-ticket I must fill out before travelling?

The question

I want to know how to fill out the Spain immigration e-ticket.

Our answer

Spain does not currently have a general immigration “e-ticket” form that every traveller must complete before entering the country, unlike some other countries that use an electronic arrival/departure form.
If you are travelling to Spain for a short stay, you normally complete the required passenger information through your airline or carrier and then go through the normal border-control process when you arrive.
For non-EU travellers, Spain also uses the EU Entry/Exit System (EES). If EES applies to you, the registration is handled as part of border control; it is not a separate Spanish immigration e-ticket that you need to fill out online before the trip.
If you saw a specific website or form referring to a “Spain immigration e-ticket”, be careful before entering passport or payment information, because it may be a third-party site rather than an official Spanish government requirement.
If you send us the name or link of the form you are looking at, we can help identify exactly what it is.
Note: This is general information and not legal or travel advice. Entry requirements depend on your nationality, passport, visa status and purpose of travel. We recommend checking official Spanish or EU sources before travelling.
